Isaac Cohen ’98 says that one of his most vivid memories is being on the school’s first undefeated basketball team. But just as vivid as the times spent in the gym playing one-on-one with friends are the memories of the late Sister Nora Cronin and Mr. Joseph Hanser going beyond the call of duty to help him in independent study of advanced math so he could continue at his accelerated pace.
Mathew Cullen ’07 calls a recent outreach trip to Camden, New Jersey “an incredible bonding experience. When you immerse yourself in other environments and cultures with your classmates, you have a common experience that changes the way you see the world.”
“Openness to growth permeates life at Loyola School,” says Elizabeth Petitti ’09. “I really enjoyed the cultural heritage trip to Germany last year and plan to go to Greece next year with other Loyola students and faculty. Loyola encourages its students to be globally aware and open to experiences and cultures outside of your own.”
