The theme of the retreat is Forgiveness. The morning session will focus on forgiveness in the context of history and society; how to forgive and be forgiven; and how groups and individuals make the journey to forgiveness in the face of hurt and loss. The afternoon will focus on our own experiences of forgiveness. A panel of three Loyola alumni will get us started by sharing their own personal stories of forgiveness. Throughout the day we will have opportunities for private reflection and group sharing.
We hope you can join us on February 9th. Please RSVP by February 5th if you plan to attend to Marie McNamee ’77 at (212) 987-8235, mariemcn@aol.com or Sr. Jo-Ann Flora at (646) 346-8185, jflora@loyola-nyc.org.
