If you have “clicked” this far, thank you! You have shown your commitment to the future of Loyola School by looking for ways to give to Loyola. We ask you to please see below descriptions of the areas of giving at Loyola. Please also note the names and contact information of the members of our Advancement Office.
ANNUAL GIVING
Annual gifts are gifts that are made and spent in the current fiscal year to support the school’s ongoing operating needs. For more information on Annual giving please click on the following link—Annual Fund.
CAPITAL AND ENDOWMENT GIVING
Capital gifts are gifts that are made in addition to Annual Giving to support specific goals, programs and projects identified by the Board of Trustees as part of the School’s long-range plan. For more information on capital and endowment giving please click on the following link—Capital and Endowment Giving.
EVENT GIVING
Event support typically supplements the School’s Annual Fund giving efforts. For more detailed information on Loyola’s fundraising events please click Benefit Auction and/or Shea Armstrong Golf Outing. These events not only support our fundraising initiatives, but are also excellent opportunities for the Loyola community to come together in festive and fun settings.
Over the next few years more than $10 trillion dollars will pass from the World War II generation to three key beneficiaries: family heirs, American charities and the U.S. government. It is our hope when you do consider charities that Loyola would be on your list of beneficiaries, if not on the very top of your list. Loyola is surrounded by institutions receiving very generous planned gifts from their communities and it is clear that we need to develop a successful planned giving program to compete with our fellow independent schools and their vast endowments. The McKinnon Honor Society, named for Fr. Neil McKinnon S.J., the founder of Loyola School, is designed to honor contributors who make a gift to Loyola School through their estate plans. With your help Loyola will become an even better School tomorrow than it is today. This link will bring you to our planned giving site which explains the ins-and-outs of estate planning. If you have any questions about our estate giving program please contact Tony Oroszlany.
