The annual Christmas Concert was held on Wednesday, December 19th in Wallace Hall. We extend our grateful thanks to all who helped to make the event a great success! The Loyola Chamber Music Ensemble performed an eclectic array of pieces ranging from a two-flute transcription of "What Child Is This" to a great jazz trio who performed their own arrangement of "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree". This was the first concert for the new Chamber Music program and it proved to be a fine display of talent and musicianship.

The Loyola Chorus also displayed fine musicianship and ensemble skills in their performance of five carols in five languages from around the world. The languages of the carols were also representative of the five languages of our Loyola community: English, French, Spanish, Italian and Latin. Following these five pieces, the chorus along with Headmaster Mr. Lyness lead the full audience in a sing-a-long of several more favorite carols.

The evening culminated with two wonderful dance presentations. The first was by the new Loyola Dance Team and the second was, of course, our Senior Social Dancers. The evening was a splendid and joyful celebration of the holiday!
