On Thursday, September 20, Loyola welcomed the parents of freshmen and transfer students to an evening program designed to introduce them to the programs and to the faculty of the school. Parents heard presentations from administrators, guidance counselors, and faculty members that helped them to understand what “a day in the life” of a Loyola student is like. After the presentations, parents met with their child’s “mentor teacher,” and went through a series of mini-classes that detailed the school’s academic program.
