The Loyola Chorus and Chamber Music Ensembles gave phenomenal performances on Wednesday, April 30th in Wallace Hall! Highlights of the show included wonderful bossa novas in the style of Jobim, two south African freedom songs and five choral renditions of The Beatles. Many students gave breakthrough performances!

A special thanks and a fond farewell is due to seniors Will Healy, Yul Lee, Luca Mannarino, Diana Blazer, Pedro Das Neves and Stefano Cassar who all gave stellar performances as well! The concert also yielded the first ever WORLD PREMIERE of a piece composed by a Loyola student and performed by another Loyola student! Will Healy's F-Major piano invention was excellently performed by Yul Lee to the audience's astonishment! The concert ended with two amazing dance pieces performed by the Loyola Dancers. The first was "The Dance of the Small Swans" from Swan Lake and the second an original modern piece called "I Believe" choreographed by Senior Julia Mills.

Moderators, Mr. Vince Peterson and Ms. Adrienne Nagy extend their heartfelt thanks to all the students and parents, family and friends who helped to make our spring concert a great success!
