Part of Loyola’s mission as a Jesuit school is to help young men and women explore their relationship with God and grow as people of faith; the school’s spiritual life program is therefore an integral component of the overall educational program. Complementing the academic program which includes the formal study of Theology is an experiential spiritual life program comprised of liturgies, prayer services, retreats and other opportunities to put one’s faith into action. Through individual prayer and reflection, as well as communal celebrations in large and small group settings, students and faculty together strive to find God, present and active in their lived experiences. In all of these activities, students serve not only as participants, but as leaders and planners.
